Colin Butterfield is President of Yoredale Consulting Ltd., Victoria BC, Canada. He is a Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Certified Assessor, and has been involved in the building service industry for more than 30 years.

Colin is an editorial contributor to trade publications across North America, author of several cleaning industry training manuals, a presenter at facility management conferences (CSSA, PCAPPA, IFMA, WCUPPA, SPOA BC), host of a major cleaning trade show in Western Canada, and developer of software tools for cleaning management. His consulting services include quality audits and operational surveys for public institutions, and developing self-paced training tools, particularly in the area of "due diligence" (hantavirus avoidance, chemical safety training, absence management, etc.)
